Summertime is here with us again and we know sweaty, humid, and overall hot the days can be. However, one of the greatest things we can all look forward to in summer days is the produced available in the market. Just this week, I had the time to pick up some mangoes and watermelon for Bailey and me!
We all know how juicy and sweet watermelons are and one of the best ways to enjoy this thirst-quenching fruit is to juice them. Today, I’m going to share with you one of my summertime refreshments that is not only nutritious, thirst-quenching but super tasty!
If you want a fruity combination of tangy, sweet, and a bit of spice, the Watermelon and Jalapeno Juice is perfect for this summer.
Ingredients for Watermelon and Jalapeno Juice
Juice of two limes or lemon (you can pick which one you like most)
Sea salt (to taste)
One jalapeno (thinly-sliced)
26 ounces or 3 and ¼ cup of Watermelon juice
Procedure for Watermelon and Jalapeno Juice
Cut the watermelon into workable sizes and put the chunks in your blender. Then, blend until smooth.
Once the mixture is smooth, you can add sea salt, mint leaves, and lime juice. Pulse to combine the ingredients.
After successfully combining the mixture, put it on your pitcher.
Add the jalapenos, stir it with the juice and put ice cubes.
Chill before serving.
