I am always looking for ways to keep myself in shape and lean  Well, I am reading, “Always Eat After 7 P.M. by Joel Marion.  Yes, I know that title had me saying, Say What? You can eat after dark and still lose weight ?
Yes, you can eat after 7 P.M. and still get to your weight lost goals!

Joel breaks down all the ways you can enjoy the food you love and still get that dreamy body.  I knew I had to read this book because it goes against every diet plan known to man.  Y’all, we all know eating early is the only way to lose weight, right? Well, Joel is debunking all of the old diet concepts and I love it!


If it’s true I will be totally grateful to eat after 7 p.m. and still reach my goal of a slim waistline.  The author has been a part of the health and fitness world for years.  But, life kinda got in the way and he gained weight.  He felt bad and his self esteem was low. One day he made a decision to take his health back. We all can relate to that, too tired and overwhelmed with parenthood.  Joel’s life story is motivation to get started on making changes to lose the extra winter pounds for good. I just wanna be lean and healthy for life. Lately, it has been a bit of a struggle for me to lose weight because my working out routine has been limited. Its all food for now and my working out routine will resume in a few months.   


 The book moves along quickly and you can’t wait to get to the next chapter. According to Joel’s research, the average person’s metabolic rate is no different during sleep than during the day. In short, your metabolism doesn’t slow down at night. Nor does your body store fat at the end of the day. I took notes along the way to help me implement some of the concepts. His suggestions into my family lifestyle.  After all, we can’t go to our gym at this time so watching our healthy eats is imperative. 


I will keep y’all posting on our progress of Always Eat After 7 P.M. program.  What I know for sure is eating healthy is very important to me and I like gaining knowledge from the experts. The book has so many tips to help me get it together! I love the list of foods that are high in protein and the right complex carbs.

 I know staying fit has become a bit complicated raising three children at different phases of childhood. All three of my children have their own activities etc and it’s not easy to squeeze time in for me, too.
